A STEP BY STEP GUIDE

What happens from start to finish:

First you need a quote, which means that we need to see a plan of your kitchen. If you are having a new kitchen installed then this should have been given to you by your kitchen company. If your just changing your worktops to revamp your kitchen, jot down some sizes or even easier, book a home consultation and we will do it for you. There's no charge for this at all. Its the same for bathrooms. For quotes on all our other products please contact a team member.

You will need to select a colour for your worktops. We suggest popping in to the showroom to see our full range, if you know roughly what colour your after e.g.: black, we will be happy to post out samples of all our black products. When you book a home consultation we bring samples along with us.

Once you have selected a material and you are happy with your quote, you will need to secure it with a deposit. This means that the slabs that you have selected will be marked as sold and not shown to any other customers. If its a material that needs to be ordered in then this is when the order is placed. You are welcome to visit and view your material as many times as you like.

By now you will have a direct contact number for your sales representative. Any questions please contact them.

Now its time for templating. You will need to give us at least two weeks notice to book you an appointment. In order for this to happen, all of your base units will need to have been installed and secured. Your sink and hob will need to be available to our template technician. The template technician will take you through every detail including what side your drainer grooves will be on and where you will be having joins. He will make a wooden copy of how the worktops will look.

The template technician returns to the factory and discusses all of your kitchen worktops with the company foreman (The man that runs the manufacturing process). The template is placed on your slab of material and cut around with diamond coated blades.

Your sales representative will contact you regarding your installation date. This will be between 5 & 10 working days after your template appointment.

Your worktops will be installed by a installation team. Once you are happy with everything your installation team will give you a form to sign to say that you are happy with the end result.

Final payment will be processed.

VIEWING YOUR MATERIALS

Small samples often dont give a very good indication of how the pattern in many materials can vary over the full slab. This is why we invite all our customers to view the full slabs at our factory, its the only way you can be sure that you have selected the right material for yourselves!

We have over 2000 slabs that we hold in stock meaning that nine times out of ten you can see the full slab of your material straight away.

If you have chosen a more exotic colour that we don't happen to have in stock then you have no need to worry - you don't have to order the material to be delivered to us (only to then decided that it's not the one for you) as instead, we can send you down to our import merchants.
This way, you can be sure that you have made the right decision. You can put your name down on the slabs that you require and they will automatically deliver the slabs to us.
Once your material has arrived at our factory (which normally takes 3 days) you are welcome to come and view it as many times as you like.

Sometimes our customers choose really patterned granites and then worry about which part of the slab will be in a particular part of their kitchen / bathroom.
Once again, there is nothing to worry about - just explain your concerns to your sales representative and he/she will help to sort something out which is best for you. The process of this involves us informing you exactly when your material is due to be cut. Then, we will inviteyouto the factory where your slab will be loaded on to the bridge saw (a big scary machine!) Your template is then placed on top of the slab and you, your sales representative and the head sawyer (the man that runs the bridge saw) can discuss how you would like your kitchen to look (a bit like a jigsaw puzzle), until you are entirely satisfied.

This is all part of our commitment to our customers. We are with you every step of the way.
