What is Caesarstone:
CaesarStone is the original quartz surface manufacturing company that introduced pioneering innovation in the field of quartz surfaces.

CaesarStone's quartz surfaces are ideal for virtually any interior surface from kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities and stairs, to wall panelling and interior furniture.

CaesarStone offers the industry's widest range of colours and structures and meticulously meets the demands of even the most exacting residential and commercial clients.

All CaesarStone's quartz surface products are manufactured from up to 93% quartz (one of nature's hardest minerals) and high-quality polymer resins and pigments that are compacted under intense vibration, vacuum, and pressure into dense, non-porous slabs. CaesarStone's quartz slabs are then post cured, gauged to precise thicknesses, and polished to an enduring shine. This results in surfaces that retain the cool, tactile qualities of natural stone while offering design freedom with almost unlimited application possibilities.

Although long used for the finest residential countertops, CaesarStone also offers an attractive and versatile finish for commercial and institutional buildings. Our quartz surfacing is tough enough for wear and tear on virtually any interior surface, and attractive enough for any design inspiration.

Silestone Quartz Worktops

There are many advantages to using Silestone: since it is a surface that is manufactured from natural quartz, it is a surface highly resistant to stains and scratches, and has a low level of fluid absorption. Silestone comes in over 60 quartz colours for worktops, three textures and several different formats, which make it extremely versatile, and can even be used in large pieces without requiring any joins. Silestone is perfect for use in a great many applications in the kitchen and bathroom.

What is Silestone:

Silestone is natural quartz surfaces treated and created to decorate today’s kitchens and bathrooms in a range of attractive quartz colours, extraordinary quartz textures, and top-quality performance. Silestone is a compound made up of 94% natural quartz, which make it extraordinarily hard and resilient. This is the one and only worktop made of quartz with anti-bacterial protection, giving it hygienic properties that are not to be found anywhere else on the market. It is an excellent surface for kitchen worktops, bathrooms, floors and wall cladding using the minimum number of joints.

Silestone has an elegance and beauty that can only be compared with the most stunning natural stones such as quartz or diamonds. The natural quartz of Silestone has a density all its own: it has a gloss, a sparkling gleam and a unique touch.

Silestone is a non-porous quartz surface that is highly resistant to staining from coffee, wine, lemon juice, olive oil, vinegar, make-up and many other everyday products.

Quartz has a hardness of 7 in the Mohs hardness scale (diamond is number 10). Therefore, whereas with the majority of other worktops, which can get scratched, with Silestone no mark is left. Silestone is highly resistant but should not be treated with reckless force, care needs to be taken with knife blades.

Silestone is now available in over 60 colours, ensuring that there is a Silestone colour to suit most styles and textures.

Silestone can be used in any interior surface, including kitchen and bathroom worktops, stairs, panels, bath tubs and bath surrounds, floors, walls, bar counters, tables and desks, etc

The high level of resistance of Silestone quartz worktops to knocks, far surpasses that of other products with similar applications, This resistance provides peace of mind in the kitchen when handling very hard objects (saucepans, trays, etc).
Such resistance is achieved thanks to its composition: quartz (hardness) and polyester resin (elasticity), and the vibro-compression system used in its production process. Silestone is highly resistant but should not be treated with reckless force, care needs to be taken with very heavy objects and worktop edges.

A stylish, textured finish available in a wide range of Silestone colours – giving our stone the softest touch.
The leather finish is available in 30 different colours.
Please be aware that the Silestone Leather Series has a luxurious finish that may require extra care & attention.

Volcano is the new Silestone quartz surfaces texture. A texture that is both rustic and soft at the same time. Volcano was created to find an attractive surface that responds to market demands.
Volcano extends the range for fans of rugged materials. Volcano is also suitable for use in vertical panels and worktops, both in the bathroom and also in the kitchen.
The product has been treated to make it easy to maintain on a daily basis, and is easy to wash with soap and water

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE

Granite

Granite is a naturally occurring stone, it has gained popularity among homeowners and is installed in homes mostly as kitchen worktops. Granite is quarried from lots of countries all over the world. Granite presents a variety of grains, patterns and colours. Our granite products are impregnated with a silicone-based sealer, it is resistant to stains, even from hot grease or oil. The polished surface of granite, which will not wear off, stays cool so it is suited for working with pastry dough. Investing in granite worktops will net a homeowner at least three times the initial cost in resale value of the home. It is hard to beat the beauty and richness of granite. It is known all over the world as a very expensive and luxurious material. Reserved for the rich, however this is not the case. Granite is now widely available and very affordable. The only stone harder than granite is diamonds. In fact, our stonemasons must use diamond coated blades to cut granite. You can put hot pans on granite without fear of marring the surface. to see how granite is quarried and turned into polished slabs watch the video below

Marble

Marble is too soft and prone to staining to make a good worktop material. Its easy to scratch and chip.
In homes that want the marble look we usually recommend that we do a honed granite in a light colour. The result LOOKS like marble without the drawbacks.
Honing mutes the granite speckles and colours into a soft, matte, finish.
Alternatively many quartz colours are created to look like marble, giving you the look you are going for with the added benefit of being resistant to stains, scratches and chips.
If however you decide to have marble anyway, we can of course provide this for you. Marble kitchen worktops are not covered with a guarantee ( You cant say we didn't warn you)
It is a great material for bathrooms because it breaths and copes very well in steamy situations and also for fireplaces and memorials because it is easily sculpted.

Quartz

Quartz is a hard crystalline mineral which is found abundantly all over the Earth in a variety of forms. It is the most common mineral on Earth, making up 12% of the Earth's crust by volume, and is used in a wide variety of applications including jewellery, scientific research, manufacturing, and building. Because of its many uses, quartz is a very important mineral. Quartz is a very strong material which is why it is perfect for use in the home in high use areas such as kitchens.
